22 Jan -New User, Theme=Fruitful-blank screen no blocks

Please can somebody assist? I am brand new to C5 and installed it just two days ago. I downloaded a Theme 9 Fruitful 1.1.1) and installed it as per instruction (Actually , I did it both ways, meaning the standard way and the uploading of the ZIP and extraction to the "PACKAGES" folder in the root. Opening the site shows a log in screen and the C% nav bar with the editing features on top. --- using the log in takes me to an empty screen... using the edit mode and then the add button shows ZERO blocks --- at least the headings are there but it says " no block types available" under each heading i.e headings such as: Basic, Navigation, Forms...Multimedia, Fruitful.
Please take a minute to respond and help... All the demo stuff looks so good and I would love to use this product. -- ps... i use the latest Concrete5 5.7.3.1
Thank you in advance

Your theme is one folder too deep..
you have unzipped the theme into a folder called fruitful giving you a folder structure like fruitful/fruitful/
Try removing the extra folder..

Thanks, I had my SP fix that but... it still does exactly the same... here is a pic of the current situation where Fruitfull was extracted and then installed in both the folders indicated !!!

I still get the same results --- any idea.. ps, i am willing to give full access to the server

Take all things 'fruitful' out and reload; which means trying to 'uninstall' the package first, then uninstall the theme - (if the c5 dashboard sees it). Then check your database in the 'packages' and 'pagetheme' tables to make sure it's gone.

Nothing 'fruitful' should be in the concrete directory, the fact that there is 'fruitful' stuff there means you've sort of bushwacked your way into getting it there. Retreat!

Fruitful is a theme, yes, but it is delievered to you as a package. Put the entirety of it in the package directory - the top level package directory, not deeper than /package/fruitful and not under the concrete directory. The namespacing inside the package itself will fail to work if it you put elsewhere.
