Are you able to use an FTP application like FileZilla?

If so, go to where you see the /updates directory. Right mouse click it and click the option at the bottom (File Permissions). Now enter "777" into the "Numeric value" box. Click "OK" and try again.

Hi!
I am pretty dummy in programming and I didn't understand your question, sorry.

FileZilla is something you can use to browse your host (where all your files are stored). The "updates" directory on your host hasn't got the appropiate rights. So it can not download to this directory, nor unpack anything there. So you've got to fix that issue somehow. FileZilla is the most used application to browse your FTP.

The updates directory must be writeable by the web server. You should also be able to set this in your hosting control panel's file manager if you don't know how to use a FTP (file transfer protcol) program.
