External Link On Navigation not working

Any idea on how I can get an external link to work on navigation. I have put them in and they work under sitemap but not on the navigation bar. It takes me to a page not found in concrete5
This is a bug, it will be fixed in 5.7.2.1. In the meantime mhawke's solution should work too.

I'm having a similar problem. I'm using the latest version of C5 and I can't add external links for the main menu. The link works fine from the sitemap, but when I use it from my menu it goes no where, it's as if the link doesn't exist... I tried the above solution, but this won't work either
