========================

I'm trying to create a portfolio page to filter a Page List using a Topic List block. The filtering works, however when I try to apply the "Flat Filter" Custom Template to the Topic List block, it doesn't go horizontal. It changes from a bulleted list, to a numerical list, and continues to be vertical.

I've asked the dev of the Fundamental theme, and they say it's not caused by their theme (https://www.concrete5.org/marketplace/themes/fundamental/support/top... ).

So, I'm seriously out of ideas as to what I could have borked here. Can anyone please advise? I'm needing this for a project I'm working on currently.

Hello,
it sounds like either a template body or CSS issue so there's nothing much that can be said without looking at some code.

Do you have a live site or the template's code we could look at?

I'm afraid since the site is in development it is not publicly accessible, and part of the contract is to ensure that. However, what info would be helpful here? I might be able to provide certain levels of info, obviously I need to in order to get help here, but I'm afraid blanket access is not an option.

Yes, I understand.

You are describing a misalignment problem so most likely it is a CSS problem, maybe coupled with a markup problem.

At the very least you should provide the code from the template and the CSS that is applied to the list.

That might not be enough because there could be interference from some other CSS somewhere else.

Frankly, in your situation, you might want to discuss with your client the possibility to bring someone on board to help fix possible problems. That would give him peace of mind and it certainly make things easier for you.

Well, I haven't been applying any custom CSS. I've been avoiding that as long as I can as I'm trying to make the website do what I want without delving into custom code, just using the theme's features, stuff like that. So, does that help at all?

Not really. I don't have the fundamental theme so there's nothing much I can say and guessing can only take us so far.
