Hi entrenova,

Were these custom blocks or marketplace blocks?

Were they installed manually to the application folder or were they packages?

yes its frustrating... and i have buy 2 new domain and get a fresh unused database, and there installation goes perfect. But..when you try for the second time in the same database after deleted everything - this happend??

But the most frustrating is that nowone who make this concrete 5.7.3.1 can come in here and comment this error - and thell what it is, and how to solve this error!!!

In all fairness, it sounds like a problem with your host - not Concrete5. Especially if you could install it no problem the first time. Maybe you should be asking your hosting company for help?

Why did you even delete everything and start again, when it was working well?

It also occurred to me that you say you "dropped" the files from your database. I would try with a brand new database, not an old one where stuff might still be lurking.

I have ask my host tecnicals. They have found nothing wrong with the database. They also try to install concrete and get the same error, and said concrete do something with the database. As they say. If i dele the database files - the database would be like new again ready to install. But the error comes. again and again. Have try the same with Drupal. Install..delete all files in the database and install again. And get no trouble..The install goes perfect. Try wih two other cms the same operation, and never get the same errormessage - even how many times i delete the database and install again.

I also get this error message often: An unexpected error occurred.
PHP Startup: XCache: Unable to initialize module Module compiled with module API=20121212 PHP compiled with module API=20131226 These options need to match

But when i click "go back" the error message is gone...but it come again, and again!!!

I get the exact same error. my server told me I need to disable xcache in concrete5, but I have no idea how to do that

Now i have try to install in the same database - again with 5.7.3.1 and get the same errormessage.......and deleted my databasefiles again...delete all 5.7.3.1 files from hosted server...and try again, - but now - i install concrete 5.3.7 instead, and not 5.3.7.1 . And all is been install with no errormessage. So the conclusion is...THERE IS something wrong with 5.7.3.1 - !!!!!!!

Well if you are satisfied that this is the case, okay.
But did you try with a fresh database? It takes 2 minutes max to create a new one. I would be interested to know if 5.7.3.1 doesn't install then.
Or is there some really important reason to keep the old one?

And.. after updated 5.7.3 to 5.7.3.1 i get this error message everytime i open the page, or open some of the other pages on my site:

PHP Startup: XCache: Unable to initialize module Module compiled with module API=20121212 PHP compiled with module API=20131226 These options need to match

I seriously believe it has to do with your hosting company.
I have installed C5 multiple times, and many versions. None has ever failed.
I am sure you are very frustrated!
Did you check that your hosting company fulfils these criteria:
http://www.concrete5.org/documentation/developers/5.7/installation/...
It is also odd that you have to purchase a new domain for each database. Very expensive!
Perhaps they can simply create a new one for you, and replace the old one?
I have started another thread asking on the Forum about this, and hopefully we get some answers...

This at least is a problem with your host. The XCache extensions is too old for the current PHP version and needs to be updated. Can't say if it's the cause of other problems.

The other error message is a bit strange. It's as if the BlockTypes table wasn't empty when Concrete5 installation starts. Do you have any way to verify that it is indeed empty, maybe by using PHPMyAdmin or some other tool?
