new website slow loading times

Hello,

I just set up a hosting spot at godaddy.com
My website is running on the APS concrete version 5.7.x.x and the installation went near perfect. Somehow I have very slow loading times to my website:

http://www.standingpeople.eu

Does anybody have a clue?
Do I need to provide more information?

Kind regards,

Max

EDIT:

I am also having issues with logging in.
When I click on the login button at the bottom, it says:
page not found. I retried 10 times, no succes.

I wait 2 minutes, click login again, and wham => login screen.

This is not normal I guess?

A manual install maybe? Any ideas?

Is your database on the same server as your site? Godaddy may have something besides "localhost" as your db server. they can be really slow in my experience.

no, godaddy doesn't allow to use localhost as server address on your installation of C5. It used a different IP address and uses a certain port behind it.

Is there a way to fix it?

I found a .php file in the installation of C5 in which the DB_NAME and DB_HOST was stated in the form of an IP address, I tried putting localhost in it but it gave an error when running C5 because it can't find the DB.

I will put a ticket on godaddy, but maybe you know another way to fix this?

Thanks in advance
