Remove a Layout?

Hi there,

I have just added a layout using a Bootstrap3 grid, but can't find a way to remove or edit it.

I tried to delete the stack to start again, as the layout was added to a footer global area, but that just threw up an error:

"Class 'Concrete\Core\Page\Stack\GlobalArea' not found"

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks,

Karl

Responsive
1. hover over one of the columns and select Edit Container Layout
2. Edit or choose the Trash icon to delete

hope that helps

That is the problem. When I hover/click on the column label I only get "Edit Area Design" and "Add Layout", even though there is a layout there.

I am guessing there is an error somewhere that is stopping the layout being recognised.

Hello,
I've added your post to the bug tracker because you saw that error. I don't have an answer for you right now, but it would be helpful if you stopped by over there and posted your environment info or just the version of concrete5.7 you are using.

Best Regards,
Mike

Fix submitted. It should make it in the next release but you can also apply the fix manually.

Just a quick update. I have removed the stack via mkly's fix and tried to add a new layout again.

Same issue. No option to edit or delete the layout. Should I post it as a bug?

Just tried and I can edit a layout from a normal Area, but adding one to a GlobalArea seems to break.

Hey karladidas.

I have the same problem with Global Areas.
When I created a layout I wanted to add a content block in it, this worked but when I saved it the content disappeared.
I wanted to delete the layout but, I do not have the options to delete it.

The Global Area seems to be totally bugged! :O
