Search block and Page Attributes

Hi,

I'm using the built in search block for blog posts (problog) and running into an issue. I have the following url structure:

/year/month/title

but when I search for a date, i.e /blog?month=05&year=2015, i'm getting the /2015 and /2015/05 pages in search results.

I have Exclude from Page List and Exclude from Search Index attributes on both. Is this a bug?

Hello,

I realise this is an old post, but I am getting the same problem on one of my sites and thought I would update this discussion. Has anyone figured out a solution to this? And should it be reported as a concrete5 5.7 bug?

On my client's site, the blog month and year pages have the attribute "Exclude from Search Index" selected, yet they still show on the page with the concrete5 search block results when you click on a month in the archive.

I can see that people have discussed this in relation to concrete5 5.6

https://www.concrete5.org/community/forums/usage/exclude-from-search...

and the suggestion was to re-index the site. Unfortunately, I am running into this error when I try to re-index...

https://github.com/concrete5/concrete5/issues/3597...

Has anyone got any suggestions? I did initally ask for Problog support, but I think it is actually a problem with the concrete5 search block, vs an issue with Problog.

Thanks,

Jennifer
