Modules: newsletter sign-up, and distributor module.

It would be great to have a newsletter sign-up block.

And a distributor sign-in that takes distributors to their own subsite.

I know-that's pretty much asking for the world, but it would be a really powerful tool.

I am currently using feedblitz to aggregate two feeds and send them out as a newsletter. I pay them about $14 a month. Would love that feature in your newsletter add on. :-)

Is this feature included in the 5.3.3 release? Thanks!

I was informed it's going to be a commercial add-on and should be released in the next couple weeks. I was referred to MailChimp.com, it seems pretty cool so far. They have an API so I wrote a script to interface between my Concrete5 User table and MailChimp to import my user's emails. I was in the process of trying PHPList but they didn't have a built-in View In Browser feature and I didn't want to write it if I didn't have to ;)

I'm also looking forward to the newsletter add-on for concrete. Unfortunately it wasn't included in the 5.3.3 release.

Please take care that it has double-opt-in and REAL blacklisting features (absolutely NO mail, not even the possibility to get sign-in mails again) - a lot of current solutions miss at least one of these.

It is urgently needed for legal reasons here in Germany.

Someone... anyone? Any news about newsletter add-on (core team)?

i'd be willing to make something like this for the marketplace independently, but don't really want to dig into if franz has it on his radar.

I've just downloaded and installed Concrete and am extremely impressed so far. But yes, the email messaging component is very needed for the sites.

No pain for the commercial version as an add on for clients . . .
