Quiz Master Add-On

I am working on a new quiz builder & management tool! It shall be called "Quiz Master", and will be ideal for assessment purposes!

Here are the current features that it will include:

- Create quizzes in dashboard area
- Each quiz created auto-generates its own unique page
- Manage questions and answers in dashboard
- Set which answer is correct
- Select a custom cover image for each quiz
- Questions are individually created, so they can be associated with any particular quiz
- Quiz functionality is powered by jquery
- Displays correct answers at end of quiz (can be set to true or false)

What do YOU think? What features would you like to see? Your thoughts and ideas are appreciated!

Yes this sounds great! I have similar needs for a project.I like the feature to display correct answers at the end.
Perhaps it could provide additional info/feedback for correct/incorrect answers?
Ex.
Yes that is correct. The sky is blue because ...
No that's not right. Look at the clouds and try again

I'd be able to help/test to make this happen.
Cheers

Yeah addon!

Another feature could be to define point per answer and display total score at the end!

I would LOVE this addon. I've been using c5 for my class website and this would be ideal for teachers. PLEASE make this happen. As it is now, the only option is to use a 3rd party such as proprofs or classmarker or quizlet, etc. A scoring feature would be key though. I look forward to seeing what you release.

Thank you for your suggestions! It seems there's interest in this add-on, with a score recording feature.

I will do what I can to make this happen! I'm thinking that another feature I'll try to include will be that quiz scores will be recorded to a section on their profile page!

I hope to have an early live BETA demo of it soon.

I'll be waiting! I was just looking for a quiz add-on!

Love it. In fact, I'd love to use something like it now! What I'd like to do is feature a quiz question in a blog posting. I use Pro Blog, so the ability to seamless integrate your add-on into Pro Blog would be most useful.

There is one waiting to be approved in the mp.

Yes, there is one soon to be released, possibly. Mine will have a different approach (and more features) than the one that's coming out soon.

Thanks for the idea of integrating with ProBlog. I'm thinking this could be done by adding the option to post a quiz as part of a blog post.

Not that I know of. The one that's awaiting approval might not be available for another week, at least.

I have put the one I'm working on hold for a while since I have a handful of other add-ons I'm working on.

Anything new on this subject? We need this package urgently for one of our clients. We would love to get our hands on it!

Although it appears that a quiz addon MIGHT be released either this or next week, I can't guarantee that.

If you want, I could custom develop one for you. I could do it at a discounted rate, as I would submit it to the marketplace. If interested, send me a private message.

growthcurve,

I've got a customer who just indicated interest in doing some quizzes in C5... so add me to the list of people interested in this!

Hope it's coming soon! ;D

UPDATE: Until now, this project was postponed. However, I have been now been hired to build this addon, so development has now officially begun!

I now have a live prototype of the front-end portion of the quiz interface! See link below.

Lemme know what you think!

It certainly looks nice! Smooth and slick!

jQuizzy is really nice!

The only thing I would look on (if you want some constructive critique on the jQuizzy code) is the hover state on the answers (around line 233). I would go with a show/hide (or slideToggle) on the .result-row instead so the results were hidden when moving out from the .result-row. As it is now the answer is still shown if you move your cursor over .resultsview-qhover which I personally find annoying when I want to view the answer of the question now hidden below the shown div.

Does this even make sense?

Hi All
we recently created our quiz addon and would be glad if anyone suggest us more features that you want on your sites.

Your addon is EXACTLY like what I'm currently working on for a client. I reviewed yours when it was in the PRB, and it is definitely a solid addon, and I can say that it is impressive for being a freebie!

Because there's Beardev's quiz addon and another one that I know of, I may not bother submitting mine, especially since it is so similar to Beardev's. Besides, I have other addons / packages that I'm working on.

We made it free for beginning as we have used the code we developed before. If customers going to order customisation we might include them into free version as well. Also we might do paid pro edition in future. Hands are itching to improve it :). See how it goes.

I would be greatly interested. Can you let me know when this will be ready?

Thank you!
