Have not gone into deep, however have updated a couple of local and live sites with a few custom and purchased add-ons, so far no issues. Also I always update jQuery to the latest (3.5.1), could you not do the same?

afaik, jquery update is planned for v9.

Did you have a fix on this issue? I have the same problem with Facing same issue but no response from anyone and couldnt find this topic troubleshooting in google
