Conversation attachments not attached - 8.0.3

Hi, I'm working with 8.0.3 and need a conversation block that allows file attachments - images in this case. Guests and registered users can successfully fill out the form and upload images, but the images don't get attached to the message.

If I look in the database there's no attachment listed against the new message. If I look in the file manager I see that the image has been uploaded but just sits in the "pending" file set.

Any ideas?

So now I'm on a new 8.1.0 install with no additions, just using Elemental.
I can submit to the Conversation and add images for a while but after a few messages the files just don't get attached to the messages.
This is on a different server...

I had the same problem .
I tried to System & Settings -> Conversations -> Conversation Permission and added the "Administrator" group to "Add Message Attachments" .

After that Attachments work for me .
