Custom attributes

Hi. I am an amateur trying to get to grips with parts of Concrete5 so please bear with me.

When the meta title, meta description and meta keywords buttons in page header attributes are greyed out and have a strike through are the attributes up and running or does the strike through mean they are deactivated?

Man thanks

Hi OswaldDax

If you're accessing the attributes by clicking on the page in the sitemap you will see two columns.
The narrower column on the left and the wider column on the right.
The left column is of attributes currently available to add to that page and the right column is of attributes which have already been added to the page.
If the attribute is greyed out in the left column this will mean it has been added to the active attributes for that page and will be editable in the right column.
Have a look at my attached screen shot.
If you want to add an attribute to a page click on it in the left column and it will then apear in the right column for you to edit.

Many thanks Rosie

So once meta title and meta description text is entered and saved it is ready, regardless of state of the buttons on the left.

What I mean is if the the buttons on the left are greyed out and have a strike though that does not effect the meta title and description being used for seo once saved.

Thanks again
