Does Concrete5 only runs on PHP version 5?

I just started to use Concrete5 few days ago (introduced by a friend) and that excites me a lot as it's open source and extendable.

I first started install it offline and did some development and everything went well so I thought of transferring the files to my web hosting but unfortunately my web hosting only support PHP 4.3.11 which I could not run the Concrete 5 as below error message displayed "Concrete5 requires PHP5."

I have also tried to install online and receive the same error message when I started to install it.

Does anyone knows is there a way I can run Concrete5 if my web hosting does not run on PHP version 5?

Thanks and regards,
Wayne.
