Dave Gandy has released Font Awesome version 4.5, why is Concrete5 not in the icon list?
I have asked several people to help include the C5 icon, even Dave directly. I don't do 'Github', so thought the C5 icon might filter in through some other means, obviously not?
Could somebody help with this?

I found a MODX (another CMS) font icon in the newest Font Awesome. I believe it is less popular than concrete5.

What appears to make a difference is how many "+1" comments a font request gets.

The MODX request was opened on May 17, 2014 and was just added to Font Awesome 2 days ago. It had 161 "+1" comments.
The concrete5 request only has 9 "+1" comments. We need a lot more unique "+1" comments to be considered for the next Font Awesome release.

Just one note to add to this:
He is likely to accept any brand icons that draw enough attention (as I think everyone here agrees with).
The GitHub issue for the c5 icon has drawn about 20 votes in 2 years (avg of 10 votes / year).
The GitHub issue for modx drew 191 votes in 1,5 years.
So based on this, getting the icon accepted would required quite a lot more activity from the community. Maybe 100 more votes at least?
The GitHub project for modx also has more than 3x the stars that c5.7 has (and it also has more stars than the concrete5 legacy version). So, I wouldn't directly claim that the project is far less popular (not trying to bash down c5 here, just stating the facts).

What I meant by popular was how many sites are made with MODX. I took a look at a few CMS trackers and it showed that concrete5 use was often double MODX (I am not sure how accurate the CMS trackers are).

I also mentioned this in Slack, maybe some haven't voted yet.
We have +1 this on Git - will also share the link via Twitter etc. Would be a great addition to the font.
Currently the concrete5 icon is the 85th most requested icon at only 44 votes - we need the community as a whole to pull together on this one and get up to 200+ votes; which would see us top spot and hopefully then get some visibility from Dave. Cheers
