gravatar?

I did not use gravatar very often but since I've built a couple of wordpress blogs lately I uploaded a picture on gravatar.com and started to like it.

I wonder what you think about it? Adding a method to the user class like "getGravatarPicture" should be fairly easy I guess..

I personally think that gravatar support is a must for the blogging community. On the CMS side it only makes since to offer it as a feature that can be implemented with a click.

I think we'd look to incorporate this as we release the myAccount area that you need for forums to work... an alternative to the flash thumbnailer thing.. (which I can tell already is going to be a nightmare to support)

I agree..

but C5 already has quite a few things where gravatar could be used.

- Sites like this community
- The comment/guestbook block could use it
- The forum package could use it

I could probably help with a few parts but I guess it doesn't make much sense since talking about how to write 10 lines of code usually takes longer than writing the code...
