How to upgrade after downgrade?

Permalink
Hi.

Can someone please help me?

I had to downgrade from 5.6.0.2 to 5.5.2.1 because of the google maps bug. Now when I try to upgrade (via dashboard) again, the theme and all the content gets lost and I have to downgrade back to 5.5.

Both folders (5.6 & 5.5) are untouched under updates folder, (exept 5.6 has the gmaps bug fixed)

Should I remove the 5.6 folder under the updates folder and try the automated update again? Or should I try to update manually by replacing the concrete folder?

I am asking this because I would like to know the best approach to fix this. I'd hate to mess up the site.

All suggestions are welcome.

Thanks.

I'm curious if you have something like

define('DIRNAME_APP_UPDATED','concrete5.x.x.x');

in your site.php that might be messing with things (?). Tough to tell without looking at it.

That said, you may have more luck avoiding the updates folder altogether. Here's some help on that subject:

Yes i do

define('DIRNAME_APP_UPDATED', 'concrete5.5.2.1')

After downgrade I've tried to manually change this back to 5.6.0.2 aswell, but resulting the same: Lost theme and content.
