What version of C5 are you using? What version did you upgrade too? And have you cleaned the site cache on your site?
Have you pasted a URL in for those images, or used the File Manager to select them? If you have 'replaced' or modified the images after copying the URL, you may find they have a new URL now.

Do a quick test and place the image block in one of your content areas. Then add an image from the library. If it works its all good and you just need to update the paths on all your images.
