Looking for VPS provider

Anybody using Dreamhost or another VPS with C5? I have been with InMotion Hosting VPS for a year or so and currently have a dozen or so relatively low traffic sites (mostly C5) hosted there. I was generally happy with them, but recently, I have been having nothing but trouble (not related to C5 specifically). Just wondering if anyone has recommendations for a reliable VPS provider.

I've found Hostgator.com to be great.
They have a phone you can call for support, chat (that is always available), and a solid ticketing system.
Their servers are fast, and I've been using their VPS for C5 sites for about 2 years without a single issue.

Note - I wrote a little blog post about setting up an unmanaged VPS as well as some of the ones I tried out over the last year:http://www.thephil.net/blog/vps-for-concrete5-how-to/...

Thanks for the recommendation. I will check them out. If I decide to host there, I will use your affiliate link.

asmallorange.com has been solid for us. Great service and support. I'm running about 30 small/low to medium traffic sites on a cloud package with them.

Thanks for the recommendations. To their credit, InMotion did correct the recent issues. I will look at these other hosts as well. It's always good to have options.

I was wondering if anyone had any up-to-date advice on which hosting provider to use for optimal performance of a c5 site. We've tried GoDaddy's VPS, but that's still too slow for us.

Speed is the number one priority for us, with good support as a close second.

Would appreciate any suggestions along with links to example sites on such hosting plans. I'm seeking the opinions and experiences of real end customers, not sales reps, of hosting services.

I have tried a few and searched these forums for suggested providers and have settled on InMotion Hosting (www.inmotionhosting.com/). I host most of my clients' sites and saw a very noticeable speed increase when I moved a number of them to InMotion a couple of weeks ago. I signed up for the VPS 2000 plan to give them a try but will be moving to a dedicated server with them soon.
