I have concrete 5. it was a site built for me by a developer. The shopping cart is hitting a wall. I am loosing orders. Customers are being told on the shopping cart that 'shipping is not available' ; which now has been changed to a different wall- when you hit next to choose shipping method it goes to a blank screen!
The developer (also hosts the site)says' the add-on' that was used has been "diminished".
He has tried plugging in "flat rate" shipping but says it won't work; so now he is looking for a different "extension" .
I use stamps.com with QuickBooks. USPS is the way for me to go. Fed Ex and UPS are too expensive for the small size and light weight of my product.
Pay pal is the secure portal that collects my customers credit card and then forwards to me. This is for security reasons.
My problem that I need help with is:
1) pay pal says they don't interface with Concrete 5 . this makes the purchasing process harder than it should be.
2) my present developer is Slow. Historically Slow. His first answer to me when orders abruptly stopped flowing was "there is nothing wrong with the site". then my SEO guy spoke to him and he recinded by saying he is looking into it. That was 11 days ago . I am totally unable to process an internet order .
is there someone there , or do you know someone such as a Concrete5 expert developer who would be interested in repairing my shopping cart and taking over the hosting?

I'd recommend perhaps reposting this to the jobs board, I think you'd have better luck connecting with a developer from the community who can help sort out the project and potentially provide hosting as well. Here's a link to that forum:
