New page type thumbnail image

Permalink 1 user found helpful
I am developing themes for some clients and my themes/designs don't match up well to the selections for the page type thumbnails. Is there a way to create and add my own thumbnail images to associate with pages I create for the theme? Seems like a simple enough idea.

no clean ui for it yet, but you can set them through the db.

I think if you open your c5 database with something like phpmyadmin, the PageTypes table contains a field called ctIcon. There you could change the names, or I think you could simply overwrite the png's located inhttp://www.concrete5.org/concrete/images/icons/page_types/main.png... with your own images.

Create an image set called 'Page Type Icons' and any images you add to it will be used as the icons for your page types.
Cheers.

Hi

To add your own page type icons, create a file set named "Page Type Icons" and add files (images) to that set. For more details see the attached screen shot.
