News scroller

I have been trying several ways to put a news scroller on my site. I downloaded a flash news ticker to use with the flash player option. I cant get it to work properly. Am I missing something? Can a news ticker be placed in concrete5?

add-ons sold in the marketplace are on a per-install (plus one stage) license..
