Summer of Code Ideas

Just registering for Google's summer of code and we need to put together a list of project ideas for the students to consider picking or might inspire their own thinking.

Any suggestions?

This is a very important Feature, - Please don't wait 'til "Summer", - have it in the "Winter of Code" and implement as soon as possible.

The current solution is unbearable and keeps people away from beloved Concrete5.

How about a backup (and maybe restore) feature? I put a rough hack of such a thing on github, with a list of issues, but they could go from a fresh start. Such a project would be fairly self-contained and highly beneficial for c5 (especially designers without developers).

Another one for the lucky dip.
Implement an asset pipeline system, as per
https://github.com/concrete5/concrete5/issues/2061...

Such a system would enable developers to work within concrete5 in LESS, SASS, Typescript, ...... and more.

One limitation with the Summer of Code is that it needs to be part of an open source project, but concrete5.org itself isn't an open source project.
