Hey found this framework thing today, it is amazing!

Uki is a fast and simple JavaScript user interface toolkit for desktop-like web applications.
It comes with a rich view-component library ranging from Slider to List and SplitPane.

Looks interesting no doubt, but after working with ExtJS (http://www.sencha.com/deploy/dev/examples/) it's hard to get really impressed =)

Michael, did you ever use this framework?

And, can you please read this post (http://www.concrete5.org/index.php?cID=354804#359241... ) and comment on it?

I am not trying to discuss HTML5 and XHTML in general, but whether my specific use of XHTML can solve a need and alleviate using a Javascript framework. The simple answer is "yes, anything is possible," but I am wondering if my understanding of how and why I would use a JS framework is missing something obvious.

I hope you can spend a moment on it. Thank you.

Rick
