After updating to 5.4.2. I learned that the "Edit Lay-out" function for creating columns in a block looses the ability for spacing. I put in a distance for the spacing between columns but it doesn't have effect in the site. If you use this feature a lot in your site, be prepared! It wrecked my lay-out...
