Where in the UK do you host your sites?

I have a client looking to host their sites in the UK. After a little research I went for GoDaddy and learnt the hard way.
Looking for all suggestions & reviews. Massive speed issues on GD.

1&1 are cheap, customer support is worse than useless, but their products are reasonably reliable and I have several C5 sites on various 1&1 shared hosting products, according to the site's needs (Just on 1&1 UK, not 1&1 USA or other Europe).
Vidahost are amazing. Prices are fantastic and the service is second to none, I have moved all my sites to them. Support (within 10 to 15 mins normally) is always good. Check out their cloud platform if you need scalability, they are doing 3 months for £1 at the mo with no contract. Godaddy is real waste of time incase you are looking for reliable provider I can surely suggest 2 companies I got my customers sites on check them out :
