Add pages to Navbar

I'm not sure if this is the correct Forum, so forgive me if I am in error - guess by elimination.

First and format, I have learnt a lot about C5 in 1 weekend - faster than ModX and WP. In any case, here is my problem:
1) I have an HTML site (little JS, CSS - nothing wonky) that was built for a customer several months back. We are moving the site into C5,
2) I have found many TUTs and links on importing and have a page imported - AND it works (even in edit mode) yeah,
3) I now have other pages that i want to import,
4) I have a navbar that is available for editing on the "1st" page imported, but cannot add any other pages,
5) On a 2nd page (let's call it test.php), I have the navbar code snippet in it, placed the page in my site theme folder.

In item 5 above, I even removed the navbar form the page, I just can't find the page in C5. I suppose I may have to create my own "them" - maybe a little much for a noob...

Anyway, that is my story - I just cannot figure out how to add it, what to do next or where to go.

Even in sn empty site, I could not get another page added to the navbar, so I don't think it to be my imported file - just a big super noob :).

As I don't like to waste anyone's time, I try every possible step, research the wazue out of everything before I hit a forum.

But I am at a total loss here.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Thank you all for your time.

You have probably set up without the Sample Content. Installing a test site (that you can throw away later and start again) with the sample content will help you a lot in understanding how pages work in a CMS like concrete5.

I suspect you may be still thinking in terms of you previous site, where every page had its own file. That's not how it works in a CMS, where pages are created from data held in a database.

Thanks for the previous link, I did go over that.

With perseverance, I found a "5 Part" series on Youtube by Andrew Embler that is "exactly" on point. It covers everything that I was looking for and more, It's very detailed and extremely well done.

I've already migrated 3 pages and except for a little styling, everything seems to works like a "hot damn".

I'm sure as time goes by, I will have other items to post, but at this point I have a grand total of 11 hours into C5, and I've done more in those 11 hours than I have ever accomplished with any other CMS.

Soooo - yeah C5!

I've posted another question regarding SMTP settings.

Thanks again, I do appreciate the timely response.
