Add a class to a particular menu item in autonav

Hey all.
I'm just starting out on Concrete5 (loving it so far), and need some help with a template for the autonav.
I want to add a class to the last list item in the menu, much like the .first class that is applied to the first list item by default.
I'm just beginning to get my feet wet with php and javascript, so any help that includes example code would be especially appreciated.
