Adding Statconter to all pages?

Permalink 1 user found helpful
Hi!
I want to add Statcounter to a concrete5 site. I got the following code to paste into all my web pages. I know how to do that in static web pages, but not in concrete5. Can it be done? In a block? Directly in one of the php files? Any hint will make me very happy.

Thanks,
Sverre

There is a page in the dashboard where you can stick that code...

1. Type "Tracking Codes" in the intelligent search box
2. Paste Code
3. Click Save
4. Have a sandwich

Thanks. Worked like a charm. And the sandwich tasted great!

Could you tell me where to find the page you mention.

I put "Tracking Code" into the search box, only it wasn't an editable page. I can't find a page through the dashboard.

Any ideas?

Sure!
In my installation I can do this:
Dashboard / System & Settings
Under "SEO and statistics" I can press "Tracking codes"
A small window appears, with a box for pasting in the code, and a save button.
Tell me if you need a few screen shots.

Thanks, I found it.

Just for clarification, because I simply couldn't find "Systems and Settings" anywhere - it is **right at the bottom**, and possibly not on screen.

Hi there,

Re: Statcounter Code

Can anybody add to the discussion below as this discussion is a little old now.

I would like to know if that code is up-to-date and if I apply it under tracking codes in Systems and Settings, whether it will apply to every page. Is it better to add the code to a site-wide footer?

Many thanks,

Regards,

david
