API Documentation

Hey there folks,

I'm getting deeper into concrete5 and developing own blocks. But I am pretty overwhelmed by the vast possibilities the c5 API has. Not only that it is little to not documented, but what I am sorely missing is at least a search function to browse easily through the manpages without learning the whole source of the project.

I'd give you both my thumbs up if anyone could put a search function into play.

we really like any kind of notes and feedback and how-tos that people spend the time to write or create... I've wanted to make a few tutorials about extending C5 and just have not yet been able to get passed themes and blocks...and there's a bit more that concrete can do behind the scenes...

Can't wait to read your notes!

We know about the API page, this is the page Sam is talking about!

First, thanks for the answers.
At least the function and variable names can be learnt intuitively.

I see, that documenting such a big API is not an easy task, so why not giving the community the possibility to extend it on their own under the moderation of the creators.
There are so many ways to extend this indeed great CMS, you'll get abit lost in workarounds and hacks instead of straight programming.

But again thanks and I am looking forward to hear from you guys.
