attributes author permissions

Created a group managers, permissions are set to basic.
A manager can add pages and edit them, using composer but can change all other settings. Amongst them is attributes.
The attributes pages loads and then gives a permission error. concrete/controllers/backend/user.php(96): Exception->null
The Author field keeps on spinning. I cannot find where I can change the permission setting for this.

where did you set the permissions ?

Probably it will also work in 8.2
Go to index.php/dashboard/users/groups
Set permissions on > Search user group
That should do it.
