Can not open block in Edit mode anymore.

I created a page type with a block in it. When I add this page to the tree it soes not open the editor anymore. This means I have to do the extra step and go to the block and edit it inline.

I would like to be able to do this all automaticcaly when I create a new page.
I can seem to find the correzct info.

How do I go about that?

You should be using a ’page template’, not ‘page type’ and then you should be able to add blocks with ‘page defaults’ from the ‘dashboard’. All new pages you add will show the block you added.
