Can't delete page type

I created a page type I no longer want.

I deleted the page template from the themes folder and went into the dashboard to delete the page type, but it's still there?

I don't have any pages that are using this page type.

Page types are conceptionally odd things.

Some thoughts...

Is it possible that another installed theme has that page type installed?

Have you tried to removing and re-installing your theme? (don't delete the theme files, just remove the theme from within C5 and then re-install it)

Okay. I just tried that (seemed like a good idea!). No luck. The page types are still there.
