Can you see this ccm-toolbar on the top? It's empty, but it's there. Sometimes it disappears, and sometimes appears - any idea why it's like that?

I've necer seen that on any other site...

Go to your themes elements folder and open footer.php and see if it has <div id="ccm-page-controls-wrapper"> anywhere in it. It shouldn't but ... thats what inspector shows. Beyond that is there anything on the site that you have made editable to guests ?

Check your permissions on all pages in the dashboard. Remove 'Guest' permissions on all pages you can find 'Guest' having permissions on (in the dashboard).

Make sure you view 'System Pages' (under 'Options') in the sitemap.

EDIT: Actually, also check permissions on Page Types and your pages, and make sure 'Guest' can't edit anywhere or view system pages.

OMG - everyone can view the main dashboard page :/ (hopefully none other). It's strange, becouse permissions are set properly - viewing and editing for admins only. I use simple permission mode... Any advice in that situation?

Ok, solved - I've just clicked Save on permissions one more time and it was applyed properly. Have no idea why it was like that.

Thanks for help!

Did this happen after an upgrade from 5.5 to 5.6? I have seen similar permissions problems when advanced permissions has been enabled. You had to reset all permissions due to the new permissions model introduced in 5.6.

Glad you solved it!

It has never been updated and is v.5.5.1.

BTW. There is no longer simple & advanced model in 5.6, is there? Just the new, better one?

There is still basic and advanced mode in 5.6, but the advanced mode has now even more (powerful) capabilities and can be a bit confusing at first.

This is a great introduction to the new advanced permissions in 5.6: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=Ac7Z3x2R...
