complex autonav

I'm having trouble setting up a two part navigation and would love some help.
I have this scenario that is not easy to explain but I'll do mu best:

— Autonav 1 —
• Link
• Link

— Autonav 2 —
• Home
• Link
- Sublink
- Sublink
- Sublink
• Link
• Link
- Sublink
- Sublink
• Link

I can't figure how to achieve this using autonavs (because I want the nav-selected / path-selected stuff for highlighting the current page, otherwise I'd use just links...) without having issues because I have the homepage in the second autonav, therefore, every relevant sublink will appear on the second autonav...
So my question is, what configuration can I do to my sitemap that allows me to do this? The only solution I see is to replace the home but I can't figure that out either. :P

Help please?

Thanks

The solution I came up with, which I think is not elegant, is to have a 3rd autonav with just the homepage between the others...

If anyone knows a better solution, I would love to know.

Hi Eskema!

I don't know if I understand you correctelly but here is two ways that might help you:

1.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
You could set the auto-nav just to show the pages under a specific node but I guess thats not what your asking.

Setting "Home" as a sub page of the real top node.
The Auto-nav "Show pages under specific page" with "home" as selected.

Second Auto-nav with links "Show pages under specific page" with "Links" as selected.

TOP
|-Home
| |-Link
| |-Link
| |-Link
|
|-Links (this won't show up in the head menu)
|-Link
|-Link

-----------------------------------------------------------------
OR
2.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Just make a new subtree that aren't visible in the Autonav nr 1 and set a specified "Show pages under specific page" from that node.
