Composer permissions c5.5.1

Permalink 1 user found helpful
Admin superuser can access Composer fine but when I try to allow a Client group to be able to reach Composer I get:

Fatal error: Call to a member function getComposerBlocks() on a non-object in /home/sites/backtothefutureantiques.co.uk/public_html/concrete/models/composer_page.php on line 29

Have checked permission settings but still can't get through when logged in as a client-group member?

Try to give your user or group all the permissions for Drafts. That solved the very same error in my case.

Cheers for the reply. How do I do this. The group already has permission to authorise posts, is there something else to set that I'm missing?

Login as admin, go to Full Sitemap, show system pages and you'll see "Drafts"-page. Click on Drafts and modify the permissions.

I'm currently on Finnish installation, so I can't give you exact information. Sorry about that.

Thanks again. Fantastic speedy and knowledgeable response.

All I have to do is remember this for next time ;-)

This saved me. Thanks. I was able to set up Composer and FileSets so a particular group of editors could work with restricted pages and filesets and nothing else.
