concrete 5 custom template add new column

hello everyone,
we were using concrete5 version 5.6.3.4, there we could add row-column from the front end.
now, we have updated concrete version 5.6.3.5 to 8.5.2. here is a problem we are facing we does not have option to add row-column manually
please suggest to me should we customize functionality from back end or can be handled by front end
