Concrete5 and Shopify integrations

Hi guys,

Has anyone any examples of Shopify being well integrated into C5? I'm looking to do this soon and would love to see some examples of this in action.

It's the 5.6.x version of C5 also.

has anyone got any good examples?

thanks for looking.

Did you see the Shopify addon?

Check out the "Used on Sites" page - there's some examples there.

Thanks for your reply, yeah I've seen this but no good examples of it being integrated.

I imagine there's some great sites out there!

The 'Buy Button' feature offered on Shopify works quite well.
It creates code which you paste into a html block.

It can show product collections or just a buy now button. I have been playing with it today. It is a bit limited but seems to work quite well.

The only slight issue is the delay as the products load.

I have also had a play with the Shopify C5 addon and not having a great deal of success with it.

I am currently working on a new ecommerce theme package for 5.7. It will compatible with the free Store package, but maybe I could look into integrating Shopify as well.

Would be a great selling point if you could!

It will possibly be up to two months. It will likely take a while to get through the review process, as it will be a rather extensive package.

Also, I have decided to add Etsy and Ebay to the features list, too.

I'm surprised there's not a lot more c5 and shopify stores around

I've got a 5.7 site and am looking into those new Shopify Buy Now buttons too. It looks like a pretty easy integration. Here is an example of a site that took a different approach to integrating Shopify. It is a friend's Wordpress site but the same principal could be applied to any C5 site: Skin the Shopify site to look like the main site and just use simple html links from the product images etc. to get the buyers to the shopping side of the site (Shopify). The only negative I see is that you lose the shopping cart icon on the main site.
Personally I would like to see a 5.7 add-on to make a seamless integration with Shopify or Big Commerce or Volusion.
