I could hardly imagine, if you wanted to invest your time/$ to recreate the image to promote Concrete5 on your vehicles anyone would have a problem with it.

Sure, you could get some free stickers, or pay for more, but if you want to promote with a BIG C5 logo you would need to recreate it, as the stickers are simply not the same size as the hood of your car ;)

Stickers are just for fun. Do you really think a sticker on a car (no matter how big it is) is going to make any difference whatsoever in the war against Wrodpress/Wix/Squarespace? Spend you time building really good websites and add-ons and contribute to the infrastructure of concrete5 and then brag to every designer and developer you know. Driving a car with a big logo on it past millions of uninterested people will not make a dint.

(Just one man's opinion)

Companies pay a lot of money for that sort of advertising. It costs quite a lot to put your brand on other peoples property. If it is being offered for free, then I wouldn't knock it.

@dejawwajid
Send an email directly to the core team (not PM) so you can formally request permission and ask for a high-res vector graphic. They may say no, but you need their consent and they have all the images.

Hey, I'm not really 'knocking it' I just want him to be realistic about it's affect. Pepsi can benefit a lot from this kind of advertising because the car is driving past millions of thirsty people. I think concrete5 has a very different demographic.

Whatever floats your boat!

You can get the logo from here (http://www.concrete5.org/help/legal/logo_usage/... ) but you will need permission from Concrete CMS Inc.

Here are the guidelines:

"The “concrete5®” wordmark and the hand icon are registered trademark of Concrete CMS inc. We have given our core product away under the MIT software license, so much of our organization's intellectual property revolves around the use of our brand and we take that very seriously. Please follow these rules and guidelines and the spirit behind them so we can all be successful together.

Use of the hand and wordmark on any website is allowed without advanced permission. Rights to use either may be revoked without reason.
When used, the logo MUST ALWAYS link tohttp://concrete5.org - not your own or any other 3rd party site. Exceptions to this rule may only be granted by Concrete CMS Inc. on an individual basis.
The logo may not be used in print or any other medium without expressed approval from Concrete CMS Inc.
We reserve the right to change this agreement at will."

Well, it says "The logo may not be used in print or any other medium without expressed approval from Concrete CMS Inc.
We reserve the right to change this agreement at will.""

So I would suggest you ask the core team for their stance on this. You can do this here- http://www.concrete5.org/help/legal/contact_us/...

I've recently put signwriting on my vehicle with the Concrete5 Logo. It was ok with them, but I asked first. Probably need to show them a mockup of the design and placement, and if you are going to modify the logo (in my case I simplified the logo and cut it out in high-glitter vinyl) probably need to run through them first too.

You need an EPS file for print / sign production.
