cPath empty when creating and publishing a new site

Hello,

I just discovered that when I create a new site from the frontend and publish it, the cPath-Var of $c seems to be empty. This lasts, until I open the site's preferences and switch to the tab containing the primary url. Now I, again, save the whole site and cPath it set.
Any idea anybody?

Hm, seems as if I did not use global $c for my autonav-theme, so forget about it;-)
