Is it possible to create a new Super User, similar to the default admin user

I know you can create administrators, but it seems there are some things only the original admin account can do. I examined the database and there does not seem to be any difference between the admin account and any other administrator created, so I'm guessing these things are hard-coded.
I don't think the super user can be deleted. So you should never need a new super user.
There were some discussions a few weeks ago about recovering the super user password if it got lost.
If you want other administrators, the usual practice is to create a group called 'Administrators', give it access to all the dashboard stuff, and assign users to that group.

yes the default admin is hardcoded, as John said, I'm adding to the Administrators group and giving all the access.
