Customer relations database with C5?

Permalink
Hello everyone, I am looking to set up a customer relations database for a small non-profit organisation. The contact base is small, we'd like to record donations, income from ticket sales and event attendance (data captured with Advanced Forms), link to MailChimp, create groups and tags for communication purposes, etc. = we need something simple, inexpensive, functional.

Is there a database that could easily integrate with C5?

I was recommended looking into CiviCRM, which integrates with Wordpress. Would it make sense to install Wordpress add-on for C5 and then integrate Civi with Wordpress? Is there an easier solution??

Thank you!

What level of integration do you want?

I set up Zoho CRM for a client and just made an amendment to the form block controller to send info through to Zoho when forms were submitted to capture lead information.

That was quick and cheap but you end up with 2 systems: website + Zoho.
If you want a full CRM inside your C5 website then that wouldn't cut it.

Thank you for this Andy, I think I will follow your advice! Zoho also looks nice, flexible - and free. Could you tell me how you made the amendment to send info to Zoho?

Much of my focus is on non-profits and CiviCRM has been something I've been looking at.

It would be interesting to see how it could be blended into concrete5.

@scrivener

I am not aware of anyone working on integrating CiviCRM into concrete5 at this time. I will be looking at this in the future, but have no timeline of when this might be.

Regarding working with third-party databases within concrete5, I recommend reviewing the documentation on the topic:
