Data Collection

Hello all.
I haven't, yet, committed to using Concrete5, though I did experiment with it years ago.
I am looking for a CMS that does not collect information or, at least, doesn't collect my visitors'/users' information. Also, the and plugins/extensions shouldn't collect such data either; or, at least should disclose what data they collect and the uses of such data.
Unfortunately, this information is not readily discovered. Can any one inform me as to Concrete5's dta policies?
Thanks!

Concrete is pretty good about not collecting data by default.
You'd want to make sure to configure your log settings properly.
You'd want to be careful about adding forms or conversations blocks to the site, anything where people might add data.
You'd need to be thoughtful about what extensions you use and certainly embedding any javscript from 3rd parties.

That said, there's nothing in the core that's collecting personal data without letting you know.
We do set a site cookie to keep track of user session, but there's nothing going on where we're sniffing for other cookies to gather site visitor data for you.

Thank you so much.
Your answer certainly encourages me to try out Concrete5. The other options I am considering are Contao, Lepton, and e107. Concrete5 and Contao are my first choices. As I remember Concrete5 was very easy to use. I don't remember why I always ended up using ImpressPages. I will come to a different decision this time as I quit using ImpressPages because it and many of it plug-ins invisibly collected data. This was years ago.
Thanks, again. Have a great day and be well.

You also have several plugins that will help you with that. The most complete ishttps://www.concrete5.org/marketplace/addons/gdpr...
