Default Image Blocks of Blog Composer
Permalink 2 users found helpfulIn the default build of Concrete 5.5.0, there is the Blog Entry page type. In the composer form of this page type, the user is faced with the Header Image and Thumbnail Image blocks. However, if you go to Page Types -> Blog Entry -> Defaults, there are no image blocks on the page. How are these blocks added to the Blog Entry defaults?
Sorry if my terminology is foggy here. I'm rather new to C5.
Thanks!

I came across the same problem, and it was due to the theme that I was using. My blog_entry.php page type did not have any blocks for the Header Image or Thumbnail Image.
So, what I had to do was re-activate the Greek Yoghurt theme, which has the necessary blocks that you can see in the Composer Write page. If you don't want the image blocks at all in Composer, you can delete the image blocks from the Defaults on the Blog Entry page in the Greek Yoghurt theme. When you then go to Write a new Composer post, the image sections will no longer be visible.
If you wanted to change the default image, you can do this by choosing a different image in the image blocks on the Defaults on the Blog Entry page in the Greek Yoghurt theme.
You should then be able to re-activate another theme, and the changes you made to the Blog Entry defaults should be in place.
I hope that makes sense and helps you.

James
