deleting contents of /files/cache

Hi,
Can someone tell me if i manually delete the contents of /files/cache folder this is safe and won't affect the operation of my site?

it should be fine but better ask more opinions from others to make sure
These files are generally safe to remove; they should rebuild themselves as they are needed. A completely safe way to clean a majority of these files up is to go to the concrete5 dashboard and clear the cache that way. It will most likely clear out most of these files.
I delete the entire cache folder, and it auto generates a new one upon refreshing.
Go for it, all safe to do so.
If you have any custom code storing objects in the cache, just remember they'll also vanish - but any code doing this should also be built to regenerate it if it cannot be found :)
