Developing web applications with concrete5

Permalink 1 user found helpful
We use the concrete5 to develop web applications. For the Interface we want to use the concrete5 dashboard theme.

Every time we update the c5 framework, we have also to copy the new dashboard theme and have to customize it again (remove "return to website" button, intelligent search and so on).

How do you handle this? Which theme do you use to develop web applications?

Wouldn't it be a good idea to rewrite / customize the dashboard theme, so that it's also useable in the "not-dashboard-environment"?

Let me hear your ideas and thoughts.

Best wishes,

Marc

Hi Marc,

To save you from all the trouble of having to mod the dashboard theme every time you update Concrete5, why not just create a Concrete5 theme that looks just like the dashboard for the front end?
