Disabling browser "See Similar" and "Read Later Fast" overlays

As I'm developing my first E-commerce C5 site, I've started noticing annoying "See Similar" or "Read Later Fast" overlays on top of our product images—in Chrome only, it seems—prompting users to go elsewhere to get better deals on products we're selling! The popup credits "By Similar Products" as the source, and Superfish seems to be behind it. Image attached for review.
Disregarding for now the shocking hubris and ethics of this encroachment, is it possible from a developer's standpoint to prohibit these intrusions from within Concrete5? I see it can be disabled on a per-browser basis for users, but I don't want anyone to experience this on our site.
Any wisdom here is gratefully appreciated.

I noticed similar issues on a friends computer while viewing one of my sites recently. Disabling browser extensions and uninstalling unwanted programs solved the problem!!
Hi, and thanks for commenting. Disabling browsers on my end is easy, of course, but I'm more concerned with the thousands of customers whose browsers I can't control.
As adajad mentioned above, there may not be any way to control this from the developer's side of things, which is more a sad statement on how invasive advertisers are getting. But that's a rant for another time.

Unfortunately there are no way you can force a browser to NOT use any extensions installed (afaik)
