Error when trying to use eAccelerator

I'm sure it's installed and running, and can see it in PHP info.
Still, when try to use it I get an error.
After checking, I noticed Zend doesn't include it!
Is this only with C5 or Zend itself?
Is there a way to enable it? It's the only one available on the client's shared hosting.
