We use one of several libraries to generate those images on the fly. If you could enter a specific word to use as captcha it would kind of defeat the point and be very easily hacked...

I wonder if there are multi-lingual or at least multi-character set captcha options out there... I shiver at the thought of a Japanese one. ;)

hi frz,

Thanks for the fast reply, i understand it is really important.. although a japanese captcha would be nice as well.. maybe i'd get a bit fewer contact from visitors :)

but it wasn't my question really, sorry, i wasn't clear enough..

i wonder about the prewritten text Before/Above the captcha, sorry but i'm a beginner phper and i couldn't figure out how to change it.

i only want to be able to change the info text "Please type the letters and numbers..."
i'd like to write the "please type.." text on another language..
so someone visiting can see it is a captcha, and he can understand from the text he needs to write what he sees on the image.. i know its a weird question.. sorry about that.. thanks!
