I pasted my Google AdSense code into an html block and it look fine in Edit mode. But when I publish, it covers up other content instead of staying where I put it. I've attached a couple screen grabs.

Any ideas? Is there something else i need to add to the html?

A clearfix may solve it. Some themes come with a clearfix class you can attach to a wrapping div through block design. Another way is to follow the html with a <div style="clear:both"></div>
My theme doesn't have that class built in. I added the code you suggested to the html, but it didn't change anything.
Did you ever find a solution to the Google Adsense issue. I have the same issue with another Theme.
